Michael started as a small boy in rural Saskatchewan with a bow he had saved up for and taught himself to hunt, and he has never looked back.

Michael founded the Saskatoon Straight Shooters Archery Club and their JOP Program. He has also been the Director of Bowhunter Education and created the online training program through IBEF and SBA.
